I started investing when I was an engineering manager at Hewlett-Packard. Being an engineer, I applied engineering principals to real estate investing. When I tried investing by myself, it took too much time, money, and risk because the real estate agents I worked with only provided basic services, like MLS drip feeds and showing me the properties I’d already found.

In 2005, I started Fernwood Real Estate Investment Group in Las Vegas to create a better way for investors. We use custom software based on methods that successful retailers like Whole Foods and McDonald’s use to pick store locations and localize inventory to attract their target demographic. This approach eliminates guesswork and significantly reduces risks.

Our goal is to make real estate as easy as possible for our clients. We take care of everything: education, finding and validating properties, renovation, and property management.
